APA San Diego "Untitled 30" Exhibition

Last night, I attended my first "Untitled 30" Exhibit, that the San Diego division of the APA holds annually. I was fortunate to have been selected to exhibit one of my photos: "Desert Study 15a", featured below. 30 photos were selected by art buyer Josette Lata, and exhibited, then auctioned, last night at the 3rd Space event space in San Diego.

Turnout was good and conversation lively. But the real excitement was the display of photos. Photos were hung along a string on two walls, so 15 photos per wall. On a large wall as you entered was a digital slideshow display of what appeared to be all entries, which was very interesting. It allowed us to see the pool of pre-selected photos, and I have to admit, some of them were truly amazing.

Events like this are very low-key and very fun to walk through, so if you ever get the chance, please do visit, whether you know of one the artists, or not!
